Are you taking the doe to the buck, or the buck to the doe?

What is the temperature in the hutch area?

How much do you feed the buck ? and the doe?

What time of day are you trying to breed ?

some don'tdo much till they are closer to a year. We usually put the doe inthe bucks cage at night and took her out the next morning. They are usually more active at night when itscooler.

We are taking doe to buck, it was late afternoon and still quite warm (that was a problem I have read), they may have been overfed, my kids have been taking care of them and they just keep pellets full all the time. They are maybe a bit chunky. I am adjusting this situation.

Sounds like you have gleaned the information you needed from the questions above !

I use an eight ounce tomato sauce can as a feed measure. Bucks get one can per 24 hours, doe's get one can unless pregnant or have litters then they get free feed. Bunny's get free feed until they reach 12 weeks then they get butchered or moved to their own hutch and one can.

I have found that once a doe gets overweight it is extremely difficult to get them back to breeding. Bucks will usually return to breeding.

Poll

Are We Recovering Economically?

No, this is the last hurrah.

Not yet, but we will soon.

Maybe, it's too early to tell.

Yes, the recovery has begun and it's safe to invest again.

NO WAY, if you think Gold is "High" now, wait a few months.

Heh... do you have a bunker handy?
